General information only. Requirements and platform rules can change; verify current requirements with the relevant agency, platform, insurer, and qualified professional.

Readiness starts outside the app

Amazon publishes onboarding requirements for carriers, including an active DOT number with minimum operating history, valid interstate authority where applicable, acceptable safety performance, and required insurance. Those requirements can change, and Amazon makes the platform decision.

For a business review, current Relay participation is useful context. It may show that the carrier has completed a platform onboarding process and has experience with a structured freight network. It is not a transferable login, a guaranteed customer relationship, or a substitute for examining the carrier itself.

Keep the operating record organized

Owners should keep entity details, FMCSA records, insurance certificates, safety performance, driver documents, equipment information, and platform account information consistent and current. Material changes in ownership or operations may require updates or a new review by the relevant agency, insurer, broker, or platform.

  • Confirm FMCSA registration and insurance information match the operating entity
  • Review safety data and address errors through official processes
  • Keep platform users, contact details, and equipment records current
  • Document any pending claims, audits, or corrective actions

No one can promise continued eligibility
